1999…The year our lives took a dramatic turn, leaving the predictable life of a schoolteacher and chemist/manager of an environmental services comany for the unpredictable life aboard a sailing vessel(s), destination unknown with a timetable stretching now into its 20th year.

2019…Eyeing yet another shift in our daily walk, how we came to this crossroad says so much about the fulfillment of a dream conceived on a snowy day in January with the simple question, “Do you think we could ever go cruising?” Once spoken, a plan began to emerge. Twelve years later, we were ready to cast our lines off.
